-

Nice. Those lefts in the first group of shots look fun. The last day, with the stuff coming off of the jetty looks great too.
-
some great photos in there, thanks.
-
awesome phil. Nice dedication in getting all the way down there. Nice chesterman's shots. Did you ever get to the Broughton?
-
The waves next to the jetty look pretty sweet.

Some sick shots there for sure man. As a Great Lakes surfer, I'm curious to know what the water temps are out there during the summer months as some of those dudes look like they're wearing fairly thick rubbers......pun partially intended....;)

I wear a 5'4 year round and if I had the money would wear at least a 6 during the winter months

in the summer it's a lot like lake superior
It seemed similar so a few times this summer I pulled the numbers and it was a few degrees difference.

Heh, I probably should've mentioned in my post that I'm a huge puss compared to the other lake surfers I know. My season ends just about this time of year. Anything below 50 degrees is just not worth it IMO. For some reason, I'd prefer to surf water between 67-78 degrees....when the water gets that cold, I'd rather be snowboarding....thanks for the replies postman and yeti.

freezing water and low quality waves. looks lovely.

oh come on HC. It's all we got here. When I lived in Malaysia I thought surfing was something only orang putih did, more's the pity

Really? Seaside, westport, la push; low quality waves? pull your head out hugh, those are great breaks anywhere in N. America. Freezing water, i'm not gonna argue, don't be a puss.
Nice pics Postman, love to see the PNW stoke.

Seaside, sure. Westport, maaaaaaybe. But this is the first time I've ever heard La Push lumped anywhere near a "great break anywhere in N. America".
As for freezing water, well, not in summer.

Heh. Westport would have less people in the water if it were in SoCal and La Push would be some forgotten place nobody cares about.

Nice pics...just back from Tofino, surf was small but fun.
-
solid pics, thanks for sharing ;)

It's a lot better than what we had on Long Island when I was growing up. We had nicer beaches, warmer weather and water in the summer but the waves still sucked. I always thought it was funny when the pro tour would come to Long Beach and surf 3' waves.
Great pictures
