TR: NYC jails

Well, Tuesday night I got arrested by the NYPD. Don't knoe if it's been on the news or not, ut the holding area they set up on Pier 57 is filthy. It's an old bus garage, and the floor is covered with brake dust, grease, and who knows what else. I was held there overnight, fed nothing but wonderbread and kraft singles samwiches, and well, it pretty muched sucked. Than it was off the central booking for another 14 hours, before finally being released.

Lawsuits will be filed against the NYPD. This was really fucked up. I was arrested for disorderly conduct and parading without a permit. Martial law is in effect in NYC.

word dude, the sick hooskau, never really that much fun. keep us up to date on the lawsuit.

I narrowly escaped the grip of the law's long arm on monday morning..................

After the David Byrne concert, sunday night in San Diego, some friends and I went to tiajuana.

It was about this time I blacked out...........

8:30 a.m. monday morning I was being poked by the nightsticks of two cops somewhere in san diego.
I was sound asleep on a sidewalk in front of some store somewhere.

They took me to a ymca and made me sleep on the floor for 4 hours....which caused me to miss my flight home.

I told them I had a flight to catch and showed them a ticket stub from the concert to prove it. This of course did not fool anyone but me.

long story short; San diego cops seem a bit nicer than NYPD

I guess this is why I didn't hear back from you Tuesday night?? Glad you made it through alright. Just be happy they didn't send you up to Rikers Island. I have a feeling those guys are always looking for fresh meat up there.

Tell them it was not parading it was more of a sache or a saunter but definitly not a parade [winky guy]

Seriously though, that sucks big time, at least your umm....."honor" is still intact.

Yikes man. This entire election is crazy. I will say this is the first time I've ever registered to vote. Colorado is one of 3 states that are completely tied.

I heard about this on "Democracy Now" this morning. I hope you're physically and mentally OK Plake. The ACLU is going to camp out inside the ass of the NYPD for this one.

That sucks man. I have a feeling a teacher of mine was there at at least one of the protests. It's good to see so many people out showing their true colors. And remember, watch out for your cornhole Plake.;)

A NY State Supreme Court judge fined the NYPD $1000 for every protestor who was still in jail after 5 PM thursday- nearly a half million dollars. Fucking Bloomberg told the media we were being fed BocaBurgers.

I didn't get arrested last night, and I didn't see Dex in his chicken suit (BTW Dex- I didn't get my cel phone back until about 8:00 last night.)

Fortunately my court appearance is the same day as the NYC Yearbook show, so if I'm not at the show gather up the maggots and Seth Morrison and bust me out.

We are at war, evidenced by a large hole at the tip of Manhattan. So the NYC cops have a lot more to worry about than a bunch of middle class white kids being naughty on their turf. They are underfunded and under appreciated. And in no mood for shit.

The RNC was poorly conceived coming to NYC. Everyone here rightly hates the repubs. Even the rich (and boyo are they rich here) hate the repubs. Rightly. This is a liberal place. People think here. People are smart here.

There are a lot of smart people everywhere, but there's a lot smarter people here than anywhere else I've been. They are definitely not hard-working people, but they are smart. They have a weirdly engrossing form of self-supporting-symbiotic-cannabalism-parasitic-all-accepting-grinfucking that you just don't get in a place as shallow and vapid as LA.

And my quarter is ruined. My business lost about 200K in revenue.

On a positive note, I did save some money on car insurance by staying with GEICO.
