Message board misconceptions...........

Well since 2000 when I came across the joys of skiing message boards i have formed misinformed opinions of others based on their posts, my assumptions & well, god knows what else.

1) thougt Tyrone Shoelaces was Swanny

2) thought ice was an asshole

3)thought lemon boy was Seth morrison

4) thought Pinner actually telemarked

5) was once afraid of Geronimo!

6)Thought MD9 was a teenager when i went to his house (thought it was his parents the first time as it was too nice for a kid his age ( see thread on his mad reno skills)

7)thought altachic was a troll

8)wanted to hang in Utopia

9)thought Cleetus was old

10) thoght frozen water was a overexcited college kid

11) thoght i could keep up with Harpo

12) never thought I would need a ski over 100" waist

13) thought the spatula was a joke

14) never thought so many of you would actually settle in UT

15) never thought io would actually like people from Fla or texas

16) thought these places would never interfere with my work..... :rolleyes:

Ditto. The collective humbled me to no end, showed me that I had a whole lot to work on (and still do). F'ing bastards. Ignorance was bliss.

I also thought Orphic Seth was Mr. Morrison, and that Mr. Pound Key was a real person, too.

In addition, I thought Pinner was an asshole (he's definitely not). I also thought phUnk was someone's alias. And, of course, I thought MirCat was a raging dork.

I never thought I would meet any of you people and believed that anonymity was the best part about a message board.

Funny you say that cause you were the first person I met from the board. I couldn't figure out which name by which to call the posse in tow you had with you from the summit, by thier "code" name or thier "real" name. It got to be too much for me so I didn't remember either.

I'm doin' just dandy. I sort of found a band - we'll see how it goes. I'm not riding enough. It gets stinking HOT out here. Who knew? :confused: Every once in a while, I do get out, though. I've been sitting out by the pool or out by the river a lot lately while drinking large quantities of brewed beverages, so I'm working on a pretty mean tan theses days (and a mean-sized gut, too). Well, a mean tan for my white-ass only sorta makes me look like a dirty Italian, though. ;)

I thought natty dread would have, well, dreads.

When I first arrived in SLC I had this fear that I would be greeted by a naked phUnk trying to administer an espresso enema. Glad I was wrong about that.

I pulled in 60 days this year. Due to mass legligence on my part I was unable to get more.
