Sad that he isn't around anymore. I always thought he was a real solid actor, and from the previews, looks like he nailed the Joker.

I am officially stoked. The level of admiration here http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the_dark_knight/ is raising my hopes quite a bit.

The Pete Travers review in Rolling Stone got the Tippster stoke level turned to 11.

I didn't really care at all when Ledger died, but seeing how well he owns this role (at least in the previews) makes me a little sad he's gone.

Think I'll short myself on some sleep for work thursday/friday to catch the midnight premiere...

I saw The Dark Knight last night and have mixed feelings about it.

It truly is as good as all of the critics say it is. Every actor is bringing their A+ game to the table, and Ledger's Joker is truly oscar worthy.

The downside is that the movie is really dark. It's a comic book played absolutely straight. For an adult, that makes for an awesome movie. For a kid, not so much. An R rating wouldn't be a stretch.

Michael Bay takes a lot of heat for "Big Boom, No Substance." But in this case, I think The Dark Night could be more "Big Boom, Less Substance."

Another site had a good quote, "Iron Man was a comic book, The Dark Knight is a graphic novel."

The movie is great, but it definitely is not a family popcorn movie.

I actually am fired up that it is so dark and not a kid's movie.

Remember the batman with arnold, uma thurman, that guy who played robin, etc.....friggin hated that movie...it was just too...stupid or silly or whatever...

Stu did you feel that Batman Begins was a family-style movie? I thought that one was pretty dark as well which I thought would set the pace for this series of Batman movies.

Same here. I hadn't seen Batman Begins til a couple nights ago. I liked it, Dark Knight should be even better.

I saw the first Bat Man movie and thought it was horrible and I haven't bothered watching any of the others since. I've never even seen any of the Spiderman films. But I'm gonna go see The Dark Knight. It looks rad.

The next movie should be Bat Man vs. American Psycho!

I've long been a fan of both scoring composers, they are truly a dream team.

Batman Begins saved the Batman series. Movies like this give me hope for Hollywood.

You should go see Batman Begins - the first of this Batman interpretation. Great fun film.

I just got back from seeing it at an imax.
Go see it, worth the hype and a damn good movie.
