So the wife and I had a few drinks last night including a midnight ride to the store for a last sixer on the premise that with the conditions being what they've been, it was a good weekend to do chores, including swapping on the summer tires.
Looking now and WP got something like 5" and I bet its skiing really nice today on that [reported] 60" base. Wonder if that 3" at Eldora was enough to max out the lot.

IMO, there is never a bad day in the mountains, and the worst day skiing is better than the best day working.
yeah, I looked at the lunch rock cam a few times and it looked like it was coming down pretty good. Watching the snowstake, looks like they picked up 2-3" more before 3pm or so. Nice. Glad you got out.Quote:
