The absolute, 100% BEST lomo Saltado I have had in the US was in Orem recently, absolutely astounding.
I think it was 51 Perú The limonada and ceviche norteño was amazing as well. And the yucca frita, and the Causa ..

Just received and slapped on PNW Loam 200mm dropper to replace a *very* slowly failing Giant 150mm stock dropper.
To be fair, the Giant dropper worked admirably for 6 years, so probably didn't owe me anything.
The additional drop is *really* nice...

The OEM SidLuxe was underdamped from the start at the 220psi required to support my fat ass. I was blowing through travel and felt like it wanted to pogo back to sag even at rebound 1 click from full closed. The Float X feels WAY more controlled bouncing on it in the driveway. Excited to dial this thing in.
I’ll be interested to hear how you like it. With the shock open, my Spur with SIDLuxe actually has a bit more movement when I pedal than my Norco Sight with Super Deluxe. The shock on my Sight has a Vorsprung tune for a more aggressive rider than me and might be sticky and due for a service, but my sense is that the SIDLuxe is fairly lightly damped. I don’t have any issues while descending, but I definitely make frequent use of the lockout on the climbs, which surprised me for a short travel bike.

Wheels of my hardtail and full sus got carbonified, WA1 Triad rims and Hope Pro 5 hubs. Glad to now have that sweet sweet crash warranty
On my size Large it just barely clears. I took it down to about 20psi and powerbombed myself onto the saddle with increasing force. No funny noises or signs of impact. A thread on EmptyBeer confirms lots of other folks running the float x without issue.
Got my new Druid V2 all built up today at The Gear Wizard. Procured a Ranger V2 a few months ago, rode the Sid Luxe and Sid Ult fork for a bit but the plan has been Fox squishy bits. Finally got a 34 SC, went with orange because fuckit. Also swapped on some GX AXS stuff I pulled off the Rascal I sold to TechTonics.
So far so good. The V2 is noticeably stiffer when pushing into chunky turns. Takes a little more to find the limit of the bike compared to V1.
I just like AXS Eagle shifting now. The shit works great. Might get transmission on this at some point, but ultimately would like a Transmission -style direct mount with regular AXS Eagle shifting. That would be the holy grail.
