Copper Mountain has had one of these for quite awhile.

Resorts have been doing this for many years. Copper's even let's you on the hill 1 hr early or something like that but you can only ski groomers, still pretty nice on a pow day.

Just a sucky idea, imo. Divisive.

Last years big passes worked OK for me with Snow Basin and Aspen on the MountainCollective, despite Telluride not being it because it was a good deal.

Not so this year, since Snow Basin is Epic as is limited T'ride, but no Aspen for almost $1000. MC doesn't have Snow Basin. Gah.

A few years back Crystal tried to implement a system where pass holders got to load the Gondy early.

It was fucking chaos with lifties and patrol trying to separate out the line up and tempers flaring.

Kills me that to ski T ride you have to drop a grand for the Epic pass. Just a huge downer.

If Mountain Collective can score an exclusive with A Basin that would be a huge win for them and winning for A Basin pass holders. Ikon probably not so much.

At Mammoth that is the Black Pass. It starts around $10k for 1 person for 1 year. F'n bananas...
