You can do that skiing there.

Well winter is canceled in the San Juans.
I haven't even waxed my skis or put my winter tires on yet.
The butthurt is coming in strong.
EDIT: Words are hard
Mounted my skis, took em for a tour, waxed, putting snows on this weekend. Therefor it will rain.
Well, the mountain biking in the Front Range is great. Sigh.
It rained, snowed, then graupeled but only a little
Rain?! Ugh. Wtf man.
I mount bindings.
Old skis get mounted on a wall.
I got my snows on yesterday, with the weather I'm not sure why.
The CPC converging on "wet" for the past few days is giving me a little hope though.

It was 53 and raining at 8500 in Grand County yesterday at about 2pm. If you're skiing right now and loving it, good for you. If you are bitching and complaining that skiing isn't good during Thanksgiving, I feel sorry for you. Can't you figure out something better to do?
Yup, people always get antsy this time of year if it's not dumping or a little warm. Fact is, I can remember many Thanksgivings that were pretty warm and sunny. Thanksgiving should be the mandated first day of skiing, it all starts then, don't expect much, but if you get pow or a good base, be thankful.
I'll posit that if you are skiing and you think it sucks, then you are doing it wrong.
I sense a war eagle pattern teeing up.
I had more fun skiing today than my bases did
War Eagle!
Let it snow. Let it snow. Let it snow! War Damn Eagle!

#FKNA!
Vail pass should close in celebration!
I rode my mountain bike today, it was great.
Eh, I love mountain biking but still much prefer skiing. But when the choice is the WROD or brown pow and 55 degrees and sunny, not that hard to make lemonade.
I skied a basin. Was surprisingly good.
