I am a huge fan of BBC's recent beers.
Same here.
Let's talk new music for a moment
If anyone is into Ray Davies/Kinks vocals with equally good lyrics.
Mixed with Pixies style thrash
The Kinks and the Pixies are underrated, huge fail.
Oh shit, I'm half drunk.
This album from Car Seat Headrest is the best album of 2016 and it's so Kinks/Pixies!
A less than 24hr turnaround trip over to the Pine Tree state this weekend yielded some fine results. Stops at ME Beer Co., Bissell Bros. and Foundation resulted in an overly stocked beer fridge for the holidays.
First taste of Dinner last night did not disappoint. Very well balanced, plenty of hop bitterness but not over the top with a lot of citrus/pineapple notes . Probably most impressive is how well carbonated it is, just enough to notice but no more.

I've seen the can pictured here a few times, just poured this into a glass and whoa, it's blue. And damn tasty.
Or pink if you put it some light through it. Pretty good, not great. Citrus and floral with a kinda peppery dry finish http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...9480aa97cd.jpg
I agree with goat, cool once.
But I won't be buying this one again.

Get to the brewery if you can before Stainless Forest sells out, their best brew since Peach on Earth or Barbe Rouge imo.
Not an IPA, but the Sam Chocolate Bock is surprisingly good.
At our local bar I had Another One from Maine brew, Stone enjoy by whenever?, then finished off with a Garrison City Propulsion Coffee Stout @ 9.2%...man was that tasty!
It was my newly 21 yr old son's first trip there, so the owner threw him a can of SipOSunshine which he cannot sell. Super cool of him, especially since it's my wife's favorite. [emoji41]

Grey Sail Brewing in Rhode Island celebrated its 5th anniversary with a one-time can release last week. I missed the release but an old friend saved me one of these (11% abv with lots of pineapple and citrus) I was pleasantly surprised by how drinkable it was. GSB said that they were trying for "Captain's Daughter on steroids." I think they were successful

Triple Sunshine...I guar-n-tee!
Are you driving back to UT this winter? Can you bring me a case of the East Coast's finest? A Royal Sampler, if you will.
You EC folk are killing me. Even living in UT, I'm kinda burnt out on most of the Western offerings that I can get with trips to CO, ID and WY.
First time in a couple years that I'm not driving (ie. Bootlegging) cross country. Last couple years I brought over 5 growlers of hill farmstead, a case of heady, SOS, and a variety of other hoppy VT sampling.
VT beers and Utah powder days = FKNA best of both worlds.
Drank a pernicious yesterday at Wicked Weed. Crisp and refreshing.
Tried Samurye Warrior from Odd 13 and it was excellent. "A very dry hopped rye pale ale". Technically a pale but hoppy enough and strong enough to fall into this general category. Need more pale ales like this out there.
Gobble gobble motherfuckers!

15 minutes from my house. I have to say, one of the best I've tasted.

Sticky Hands DIPA from Block 15 out of Corvalis. Absolute best I've had in awhile. If you live in the PNW, it's around so get it while you can!
That beverage has zero lacing, and the other one has powdered iced tea in the background.
Leads me to believe that the west knows nothing about tasty beverages.
Vermont, Maine and Massachusetts, if not, take a lap
