It was at the top of the first screen

I put the phone in my bag when I ride my bike, hike, or hunt. Skiing is not a problem as you have big pockets and I don't trail run. Only real problem is when I'm flossing my dong hammock at the beach. Or flexing at the gym in my Lulus.

To be fair, it isn't an apples-to-apples comparison now that phones have gone to no-bezels/no-buttons/cameras-in-screen. The iphone 15 is smaller than the iphone 6 Plus (apple's first phablet attempt at 5.5") despite having a larger screen.
But yeah...I think I'd have to replace some of my clothes if I were to switch from my 13 mini to the 15 pro with any sort of case on it. The chest phone pocket on my ski jacket barely fit my Pixel 3 in a case and the 15 is a pinch larger. Other pockets are already a tight fit as it is.
Plus the ease of 1 handed usage when doing anything like biking, riding a chair with 1 glove off, hiking with poles, etc. Not to mention things like pulling a phone out while rock climbing to snap a picture or something...
I found it on the website (and they added a handy box on the app that told me to go there if I wanted to get trade in info). They only were offering $150 for my Galaxy S22, so not enough to tempt me. It's still working well, so I'll probably keep it another year.
Selling your Galaxy S22 on FB, Swappa, or backmarket type of sites should be resulting in at least 2 or more times that low ball offer. Unless there is serious damage, cracked screen, or the battery not working very well and needing to recharge it 2 or 3 times a day, those Galaxy's when I was shopping for S21 or S22 were $200 for the S21 FE (older series) up to around $350 and higher for the S22 series models depending on condition of course.
Amazon has the Google Pixel 7a for $400 right now as part of their Prime Days deals.
Marques just dropped his full review on the Pixel 8. Looking good! Gonna stop by a Verizon shop some time and place my order when I can.

Funny seeing people complain about the price when it's like $100 LESS than what my Pixel 3 was going for years ago. Taking inflation into account, $700 ain't bad at all for such a solid performer.
I'm probably going 8pro. Will wait to fiddle w it in person. My 7 will trade in for 500$ or more, and t mobile pays the rest.
50g.of hotspot is like having starlink as long as you are in service.
I'm now on the Google Pixel 8 Pro. I really wanted the 7 pro to work as I loved the UX and features but it was so glitchy for me. Everyday I go from wifi-calling (no cell at my house) to cellular and it would simply drop data, meaning I'd have to reboot the phone every time I left my house. So...I really wanted the 8 to be a non glitchy version of the 7, that's all.
So far, so good. I haven't had one glitch or freeze in three days of ownership. It's fast and the haptic keyboard is the bomb. I'm really happy with it so far. Love the OS and the Google ecosystem interface is better than ever.
Only downside is the battery life isn't as good as my Samsung was. It's not bad...I can comfortably make it through a day of heavy use and be at 30% at bedtime, but the Samsung definitely has it beat in that department.

Rev you got me thinking.
Slight drift but why do I get crippling anxiety when my phone gets down to 30% or less?
Happens to y’all too?
30% is really nothing to sweat in my opinion. Under 5% and specifically 3% then I am either trying to do a plug in or hoping I have an external battery booster to get me through. I've had a few days where I am on the phone a bunch plus taking photos and other data and apps or in an area that cell service sucks (inside the local mall) and that drains the battery even faster.
On the 8 pro now as well. Solid. Bigger than my 7 but just a bit. Audio is noticably more clear. Generally good. I plan on having this several years
Just got a Pixel 8 to replace a 7, dirt cheap as Fi took the old phone back for $350 and the new one was on sale for $400. I would have never updated had the new version not been smaller than the old one. Bring back phones that fit in ski pants or bike shorts without putting a dent in my thigh whenever I lift a leg!!
I paid $850 for a new iPhone 13 and one year 15g monthly service with Mint ( t-mobile network).
Kinda off topic, but perhaps a quick answer here. My 14yo daughter wants an iPad for drawing. Any differences between gen9 and gen10 for said purposes?
