Just about to head out on fire patrol. Anyone want to bet $20 that I don't put out at least one fire? Will report back in 90 mins or so.

No takers? Incredibly, not only weren't there any camp fires, there weren't even any campers! Not one tent or RV in the whole valley. I guess if you're not allowed to shoot at or set fire to your old appliances, what's the point in even going camping at all, right?
Anyone up to Rollins Pass recently? Couple of us thinking of skiing Skyscraper tomorrow AM.
Did anyone get up above treeline near Summit this weekend? How's the air quality? Still hazy from fires?
Great! What did you ride?
It's raining! Wooohoooo!
Finally some moisture
And just like that we're back down fire danger rated at Moderate. Amazing what a few days of solid moisture will do.....
Moody day on Lake Dillon. So good to see some rain.
Nice long nice long moderate rain in Golden Gate Canyon last night. Fire danger is still high.
Hoping dumb fucks don't act dumb. Cig butts stay in the car also.
Did anyone run the Cirque Series at A Basin today in the rain? Looked like an awesome event.
Winter is coming
^^^
31 at my house yesterday AM
Can be inconvenient but so nice to see a rainy month up in this desert. I think it has rained everyday for about 15.
Yawn - winter is still 3+ months away. I'll take a nice indian summer.
Every year the "why nobody skiing in April?" question gets brought up, and every year its the same answers.
People are always just looking ahead to the next season rather than enjoying what the weather gives them. It's dumb, but I still get excited for winter in summer and vice versa.
Hell of a storm rolled through last night, haven't had one of those in a while.
I can't believe how fast summer is flying by, feels like I'm going to blink and it'll be yellow leaf MTB season.
Raining again! The NWS having the reporting station at DIA is bullshit. How can a station practically in Kansas accurately keep records of Colorado weather? They say CO is almost 3" below normal precip...I bet the old Stapleton location has had about normal precip. And I know the west suburbs and foothills have had more than average.
