not sure what to think about totals for Eagle County. I'm thinking somewhere around 6". Really glad to see snow falling and sticking around on the ground again. Welcome back ULLR!

Think 6-12" should cover most mountain areas. Some places could see heavier showers on Wed/Thurs that could randomly put down another few inches, but the best forcing and moisture should stay east of the divide and/or north of I-70. No matter, I am uncomfortably energetic about snow right now...
32 and calm outside. A beautiful night....love it when it's white out and calm.
^tis a good feeling indeed. this thread has kept me going, t-minus 5 days until i'm on the road driving cross country for the mountains. would love to here some totals tomorrow night
Hey there weather gurus, any similarities to Oct. '97 ( I think it was)? My roomie and I built a kicker in the park by our house in Ft. Fun that storm, but the ski areas got WAY less. Would love to tour laps on Green Mt. or North Table in Golden...
Looks like after this storm, there will be 5 or 6 days of slightly above normal temps, then some storms starting to come in from the west coast.
snow west of the divide in the Eagle County area quit for the most part yesterday evening and hasn't done much since. Unless we get some wrap around moisture then we should be done...2 maybe 3" on the ground here.
4" or so north of Denver here, but it looks like 10-12" more on the way during the day. Here's hoping it reaches up to Loveland and A-Basin.
Got a few yesterday and a little overnight, just starting back up here in Aspen.
I'm amazed at the clearing we have. Absolutely bluebird, clouds west and east but bluebird overhead. A tad windy, but not cold temp wise.
It's hammering in the SW foothills at 9000ft. ~8" so far, just as forecasted.
Puking in Georgetown. We have about 6" behind our place :tongue:.
Berthoud Pass Friday morning...should be fun on some of the lower angle, grassy stuff.

Impressive SNOTEL data:
Lake Eldora = 17" snow on 1" of water (6%)
Berthoud = 14" on 0.4" of water (3%)
NPG,
I noticed the berthoud data, but wonder of its accurate given that SNOTEL was vandalized earlier this fall.
We have about 18-20 so far about 500 ft above Nederland and it's dumping
surprised we still have highlights for zone 10. Been basicallly sunny all day and is currently 34 degrees.
It was snowing all morning at Loveland but not accumulating much and very windy, there is a foot of snow at my house near Boulder.
windy at Loveland?
no way!
just measured 11" in boulder, thats a shame to hear about loveland. I would have thought it would get more out of this...oh well
Eldora and Echo seem to be the only ski areas really getting hit with this storm.
