Lulz. That was funnier than expected.

I was just thinking Greg would have been proud of that catch lol
Benny--you ought to credit the onion when you post their pieces, but I guess that would ruin the fun of people believing them. So you get a pass. Besides, we all know you aren't capable of coming up with something that clever on your own.
BA-ZING!!!!!!!
LOL I didn't even read it...

Well… duh.. see https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/War for example.
Crew Resource Management (CRM)….The gold standard.

I hate to rain on your parade, especially since this is one of your favorite vegan rants, but NPR reports 21,570 total homicides in the US in 2020. So you need 343,430 more homicides in America in the year 2020 to make even one thousand homicides per day and not be making shit up.
Not all homicides are committed with a gun, much less a gun stolen out of not just a vehicle but a NRA member's vehicle, by a teenager, at night.
What the fuck is wrong with you that you have to make up stupid shit that can't possibly be true? Did you get hit by a coal-rolling F250 while road biking?
are we on to gun control now ?
when the armourer can't control the guns they are paid TOO control
there isnt any control in America gawdammit
Yup. Both that "cold gun" AD, and the janky armorer woman committed pretty blatant violations of firearms protocol, and are both candidates for something along the lines of negligent homicide. Surely there's some serious (but probably not criminal) culpability farther up the management chain, and those with deeper pockets (including Baldwin, more because he's a producer than because he pulled the trigger) are likely to spend some time in court.
It seems to me that gun scenes can be done reasonably safely in a low-budget production, without hiring quite the best people, but not as easily if they're trying to be fairly authentic about it, and also allowing lethal ammo to be floating around so that the good ole boys on the crew can shoot at beer cans during break. I'm a big fan of low-budget cinema, and I have no complaint when a prop gun doesn't recoil properly (or if there's a hand visible controlling the jaw movements of the ravenous mutant monster).
Irony: The documentary about this shitshow will be better than the movie they tried to make.
Sheriff says everything on the table.
"I’d be careful using the word ‘accident,’" said Sante Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza during an appearance on "Fox & Friends."
"This is obviously a tragedy and it was avoidable, so right now it’s a criminal investigation."
And Hannah Gutierrez Reed, Assistant Director David Halls, and Alex Baldwin have lawyered up.
https://www.foxnews.com/media/alec-b...-investigation
Why would a sheriff be on Fox & Friends commenting on an open case?
Money?
Dog will be on the case any minute now.
What?--Your wrote that? Not Jonathan Swift? You're even older than me.
There you go--producers knew they had a stinker on their hands so they set up the shooting to get some publicity and a Netflix series and recoup some of their investment.
Disclaimer: I didn't watch this clip - not giving Fox the views.
But I think there is a reason that law enforcement personnel, who have a professional standard, don't go on entertainment programs. This is not a news program. LEOs throwing redmeat to an Alec Baldwin hating audience sounds like music to a defense attorney's ears - from biases to corrupting jury pools. If you were minded on justice, this is working against that process.
The 'It's Always Sunny' conspiracy memes always crack me up:

really high one night so on a munched out whim I whip into the giant burger, an old style drive-in, one building with just a little order window, pull in at high speed to within 4 ft of the cashiers window driving an old cab-over van so I am right in front of the order window. I turn off off led zepplin and look up, I notice 4 ft in front of me a guy is holding the place up with a revolver, turn led zepplin back on, act like nothing is going on, I sure as hell can't leave now so when buddy the criminal leaves go up and order a cheesburgr
I am not holding any MJ at this point so not worried, just keep acting cool man but I know there will be police really soon, sure enough 5 police cars show up, I get out of the van & stand in the middle of the lot with my hands out of my pockets to meet the RCMP, cars zipping all around me with the light show, 2 plain clothes guys in a ghost car skid up in front of me, one guy jumps out and grabs me so I put my hands up and say in my best Cheech Marin voice " I'm innocent man " and he almost laughs
the cashier leans out the order window an sez " not him, he's just getting a cheese burger "
so to answer your question ... i was hungry man
This is the reason for our current situation. People commenting on things without even reading them.

Best one I've seen is a theory that it was a Trump conspiracy to put the loaded gun in the set as payback for Baldwin being an Anti-Trumper.
Best one I've seen is a theory that it was a Giuliani/Gaetz conspiracy to put the loaded gun in the set as payback for Baldwin being an Anti-Trumper, but mostly to get Trump Russian funding for their Venmo child prostitution cabal and secret fleet of Imperial destroyers.
Not saying this is what you were implying - but two things I find incredibly annoying in modern times are the ideas that 1) when someone is suing someone else the sued party must be guilty of something (see Trump and the response he gets when he says he’s gonna sue someone - his fans react like he’s already won the suit and stuck it to the other party) and 2) when someone retains a lawyer (“they’ve lawyered up!”) they must be guilty/have something to hide.
Shit - everyone on set that day down to the guy clearing plates in the food tent has probably spoke to a lawyer. That fact is meaningless. It would be incredibly stupid for Baldwin to not “lawyer up”.
