Yeah, many are going to come out of this with a very big appreciation of living a life with much less spending. Many will have to, but, in the end, they may be happier.

Day 13; I'm going to break my isolation today at 3:00 in time for cocktails.
Don’t do it! The risk is just too great!.!.!.!.!
I'm out of chili powder and shopping day isn't for another week.
Out of spice? Wtf, gotta stay stocked in a zombie apocalypse.

I need a fucking haircut
^^ that’s pretty much what my hair looks like 3 weeks after getting it cut damn short
Yup. I'm starting to look like the town drunk. Upside: so is everyone else.
I took the clippers to myself last week and took it all off. It’s taken me a bit to get used to but I kind of like it now. Might leave it like this for a while.
Haven’t shaved though. So I guess I’m replacing the hair on my head with hair on my face.
My wife is normally too afraid to even trim my neck, but she stepped up and cut all of our hair today. She’s slow and meticulous which made for a very relaxing hour of no responsibility. I think I’ll set up a weekly appointment.
Ha! Coarse and crazy hair required a biweekly trim to contain, until I no longer needed to keep it above the collar to make money. Now, I trim the ends every 4months or so. Funny cause just when it got past the collar, all the kootenay yippies suddenly went to the pig shave.
Beard usually gets a big trim at Easter, much to the chagrin of my daughter. Might just let it keep going this spring.
So much to be thankful here. Wife just off from a few night shifts this past week. I'm still in the office when she is not at work, so both paycheques are rolling. Snowpack is fantastic this spring, so still XC on the local trails, and local BC couldn't be better, if only the sled was running. Just sanitized the SAR trucks this afternoon after last week's call-outs, team is holding up well.
Small town so no active COVID19 cases here so far, so every day is a blessing. And so far no family infections, although the shutdown is hard on some as they are small business.
Hoping all are well in TGR-scape.
Last time I bought a pack of toilet paper was March 11th. I got enough left to get through this week. Where the fuck is the toilet paper???? Day 22 of this new world and the kids are driving me nuts. Everything else I can handle but the kids, there is no space, I mean no space in this house. I haven't taken a dump in three weeks without a kid walking in, WTF we are stuck at home and have literally all day everyday to talk do we really need to do it while I'm taking a shit, is there really no better time? I'm losing it guys.
I’m so glad I’m not the primary right about now.

We had new neighbors move in behind us about 5 years ago, never see them. Today their 14yo and 12 yo girls “played” with my 8yo boy over the fence and while sitting in trees.
My garden should fare a lot better this year, no skiing and nothing left to do but work in the yard.
Well you could drink and fix cars.
I wish I could still go ski touring, but other than that, I really don't have too many complaints about this whole thing. And I do acknowledge that I'm very fortunate to be able to say that at the moment.
Self haircut!

Been doing self cuts for a long time, but this was the first time I tried going longer than the longest clipper length by using scissors.
I figured if it didn’t go I could go with a redneck monolength buzzcut and nobody would notice these days.
Moustache wax?
Fuck, that username goes perfect with that pic.
Need a dab of Dapper Dan?

I watch my wife make toast, finish the toast and put the “dirty” plate on the counter. A few crumbs of toast on it.
An hour later she gets a totally new plate to microwave a burrito and puts the dirty plate next to the “dirty” toast plate.
Why are you doing it that way? Just use the same plate and save some dishes.
This is why when I come home from work usually the counter is littered with used plates.
Fuck this work from home or I’ll be in the Tammy thread soon.

Today makes a month we've had houseguests. Sure 2 of them are my own kids. Doesn't matter at this point.
