I figure its a large airport which also sees a lot of people who don't travel much. A lot of people there are pretty oblivious to what's happening around them. During holiday travel this is amplified.
Just traveled through DIA a few days ago with a tight connection. Taking the train between concourses, its annoying when people get on the train ahead of you and immediately stop, backing up everyone else. I pretty much pushed my way through a overweight 30 something lady who did this. She had headphones in, staring at her phone and not paying attention. So many people standing still in the middle of the people movers too. The standout was a gravy seal in a camo 2nd amendment t-shirt. I couldn't resist and as I worked past him I said "alpha male coming through".
And it never fails that every time I visit with my in laws one of them brings up the DIA conspiracy theories.

Delta cancelled my flight which earned my son and I an overnight at the DEN Westin. We’re currently lunching (and I’m drinking) on Delta’s tab which isn’t too bad. Kid is looking forward to the pool that overlooks the runway.

Could be worse things I guess.

So combining all the redeeming qualities of Frontier with the performance capabilities of Spirit!!!

I really is becoming like inner city pubtrans. Who's going to be the first airline to try to eliminate flight attendants?

Normally I'd say Spirit will.

Then again, maybe that's just another add-on service that you can pay for at the self-service kiosk along with charges for everything else you'd normally need to travel on a plane.

Anyone else know a couple guys from High School that each had neglected handy-man businesses that sprung up between domestic disputes with girls that they met at an aborted technical college run, who one day decided that they would start a construction company together to merge their spotty clientele so they took out 96 month high interest loans on a couple F350s and slapped an askew new logo on the sides designed by one of their brother's friends who also offers at-home tattoos, so he is the creative one in the family, and then actually booked work and found out they really only knew how to demo walls and mark up raw materials, so they started getting roasted on facebook by disgruntled customers and real contractors who actually put licensure and bonding information in their responses when showing up in neighborhood group threads from people asking for referrals, and now they shuttle only the ignorant damned from one bad experience to the next while contemplating increased fuel costs associated with fleet?

For western USA...
SAN (San Diego) is one of the worst AND one of the best for me. Terminal 1 is a dump and Terminal 2 is awesome. They just started redoing terminal 1. Hopefully they actually get the trolley to the airport.

Having spent what seems like hundreds of hours in SLC, I was very confused when I stepped off the airplane this summer in a nice new facility. Had noticed some construction past years, but had no idea the plan was to replace the terminal.

This is fantastic.

That odometer is going to spin so fast the app will catch fire.

Not sure what the issue is here as I think we're down to just executing on the basics of powered flight with all carriers now....i.e., no crashes, no sudden depressurization events due to unnoticed tail strikes, etc.

The level of service at all airlines is descending faster than a group of doctors in a V-tail Bonanza.

That's why they need to get rid of all pretenses. Eliminate the flight attendants, run them like the NYC subway. Get in, close the door, don't make eye contact and if you do have to sort shit out, throw some hands.

Easily the worst hike in SLC.

Once the new connecting passage is built it should be a ton better, but for now, it's just miles of underground walkways.

Otherwise I love the new airport. Great restaurants, the grand hallway is awesome, security is always very quick.

I was impressed how long the walk was. Probably the most walking some people get is traversing the SLC airport.

BZN calls itself an international, but it's still really just a regional, and probably one of the nicest in the US.

I'll be going through Detroit later, prayers requested.

Well that's a pretty view.

Pro tip for DET: the Delta SkyLounge at the end of the terminal with the people-mover train thing has self-serve booze.

Love self service booze, for future knowledge my nickname while bartending was "slow hand".

Don't know if we have enough time for a full assault and take over at the delta lounge, is Cat Cora's any good there?

I'm not sure, we never got out of the self-serve booze lounge to see the rest of the Airport before flying off to Amsterdam.

Question, why do people feel the need to stretch out in airports?

Puerto Vallarta is actually pretty nice, but there is no Mexican food in the entire place that I saw.
