ONK, what's Atomics view on warranty on liners that didn't foam properly? I had a pair foamed last week in a super reputable shop here I Colorado, and a bunch of the foam blew out though the lace holes.
Me and the bootfitter both acknowledged that the squash ball size of foam that escaped was substantial, but we hoped enough foam was already distributed into the liner. But after skiing them I have one liner that is way thinner/less supportive than the other. I even tried a set of the V3 LV tongue to adjust the fit/take up some space.
The shop does not have my size in stock anymore, but do I see the HAWX XTD are in stock in NA, and willing to buy another set if that what it takes to get the right fit. Just wondering if this is something your team is seeing happen, or did I just get unlucky.
Greg I know you're foaming a bunch of Atomics, have you experienced this?
FYI I've skied exclusively in foam boots since mid 2000's. This is my second pair of Atomic Pros, multiple Surefoot liners before they got too soft, and the early years of Conformable.
