What altitude do you use?
I got some turns tonight in my neighborhood. Knee deep blower.
He was indeed on the hut trip.
This storm is more of a pussy than the MtBR heads getting in on this thread. Lol
That would be the sweet smell of Greeley.
Ahh, the "Greeley Breeze". I was a flight instructor on the FR for a few years and you really get the full stock-yard effect when you are in the air anywhere downwind of Greeley.
I love this winter, but it was a nice change of pace to have some cold NW flow and light snow today! Quality leftovers all over WP
Woke up and was not stunned by last nights snow fall, decided to ski RMNP.
Needless to say it was stupid deep out there - how did the resorts off i70 ski today?

sorry missed you hatch, was a great day out at WP, caught rope drop into eaglewind and lapped that for a while and went back to close it. Was DUMPING last ride up before they shut it down behind us. Will be more in the am.
By the way, if anyone finds my pride under the chair off eaglewind, let me know. I dropped it when I landed flat and double ejected for the chairs, good times.
Mud season is in the spring. But I hate the term. It should be called super awesome best time of the whole year ski season. AKA, the time when the gapers go to the desert.
I find the fall shoulder season to be fitting of the term. It usually snows a little, melts, and everything gets muddy putting an end to summer activities but the skiing isn't in yet. It's getting colder and the mud never quite dries up.
In the spring, I feel like I find much less mud, and much more awesome skiing.
It was pretty bottomless all day in the alpine today. Tahoe bottomless. Not light. Not deep.
