Finished up Alice in Borderlands last night, decent series. It's like a better version of Squid Game.

The algorithm served me up “Mo.” Highly recommended, it’s a good mix of smiles and tears.
Saturday Night is on Netflix (not permanently). Check it out, really fun film, didn't want it to end. And, as someone else posted, its portrayal of the show's early unhinged spirit really brought me back to those years when SNL was mandatory viewing.
If you’re looking for ultra-creepy, Marianne has got you covered. French with subtitles obviously, good binge watching.
Marianne is good. I'm about halfway through it. Witchcraft isn't exactly untrodden ground, but they manage to come up with just enough originality to keep me going. I also really like the setting. Apparently it was filmed in Brittany, a region in Northwestern France. "Brittany, called Bretagne in French, has miles and miles of (potentially haunted) coastline. The gray, misty region has long been linked to the supernatural." It's a pretty stark and beautiful looking place.
I Care a Lot was pretty entertaining.

Watched "Gold and Greed" last night. I'd heard of the Fenn treasure but didn't know a lot about it. It was entertaining.
We just finished it. I’d only heard about it after reading a thread in the padded room. What a wild story.Quote:

I watched "Adolescence" over the weekend and it's pretty incredible. Each of the four episodes was shot in a single take, which gives it real immediacy. Great acting all-around and a compelling story-line. Recommended.
Adolescence is incredible.
Highly recommend watching the BTS documentary.
Alright folks - I'm a Kill Tony Show fan - been one for a while. No, I'm not down with Tony's MAGA shit, but it's not a big part of his show.
Anyway, Kill Tony on Netflix is a great introduction to the show if you've never seen it. Joe Rogan and Tom Segura were both shit guests, but otherwise, it was a top notch episode and I highly recommend the show. It's new on YouTube every Monday night, every week. They will have a few more Netflix shows as well.
The most recent episode of Kill Tony (not on netflix, but on YouTube) ... Night one in Nashville, was amazing.

We just finished watching The Residence. Super fun whodunnit, great cast. Good rainy day binge watch fodder.

Anyone else see, Talk to Me? It’s the best horror movie I’ve seen in a long time, thumbs up
Department Q: Slow Horses wannabe, but I'm diggin' it.
Watched the first two episodes Top Tier TV
I will second TALK TO ME.
Really enjoyed it when it played at the cineplex back in 2023

I’m still thinking about it today, definitely going to rewatch it over the weekend. It’s just that good. The final scene was perfect.
I too saw it in the theater and liked it.
Looks like a sequel is about to happen, Bring Her Back is the title
BRING HER BACK opened in theaters yesterday.
Not explicitly a sequel though, but apparently takes place in the same “universe.”

Back to Dept. Q: Akrim is fookin' ACES.
... and he's a Kurd!!!!!!
The formatting is fucked should have been a reply to the Dept. Q post In a series of quiet menace he is on a different level
I have found that you have to quote, then delete, then refresh and quote again to get the actual quote you want to appear in a new post….
But that is kind of a hassle, so I have just be writing “RE -insert the post you are quoting- and then typing my reply/response/2cents.
there are easier ways. 1. double click on the "reply with quote" button 2. right click on the reply with quote button and open in a new tab. 3. if your mouse has a button that opens a link in a new tab, use that on the reply with quote button
all 3 of these work for me, YMMV
Titan: The Oceangate Disaster is pretty good. Lotta lucky people that survived a dive in that thing.
If that fucker Rush was alive he’d be in prison.Quote:

DEVO’s devolution documentary will fill you energy domes w good vibes. Great background of the band and its fifty years of de-evolution. Those guys were more prophetic than the simpsons and easier to dance to. Whip it up. It’s the doc you want

Netflix's docu series Trainwreck is pretty entertaining. Some of these events are nuts and we'd only heard snippets of them.
