A few from Sunday. Sorry, I know this is picture of the day and not picture(s), but I don't get on here to post much anymore....
Saw this when I took the dog out for his morning pee. Damn cold but beautiful morning in Auffach, Austria:

Sweet powder on the way down. This is my buddy who hiked up with me on my second go-around.

White balance is fine on that pic. He's in a BLUE tunnel. Mom in the sun looks normal.
I know that. From a technical standpoint WB is fine & the photo is fine.
But I look at it and the first thing I think is DAMN what's wrong with that kid?
I just think from a creative standpoint some kind of correction would be appropriate... I guess it's a personal choice.
Maybe the kid's just holding his breath?

^really like the first one, good pop and I dig the glow on the trees. how are you liking the d7000? the more shots I see from it the more I am reconsidering the jump to full frame.
Love the camera but the glass is driving me nuts. I am pleased out to 630mm, I can reach 900mm but IQ suffers if my object is moving. Would love some fast glass in a 400, 500 or 600mm FL but can't justify the price. Been shooting lots of eagles lately and am borderline frustrated.:frown:
Seconded, it doesn't seem to be that often you get such strong shadows with big water.
The closest I can think for most people is some late evening whitewater with lights and even still I can't think of any feature quite that large that you could light.
Hopefully I haven't posted this before - Brunswick, ME in December

An a new shot from Puerto Williams, Chile a couple of days ago. We've had a pretty good sunset every other day now it seems.
