I see what looks like an exit track, but not an entrance track. Was it a remote trigger by any chance?
I rode lifts in CB yesterday and the signs were everywhere- headwall, big chute, monument, etc all went from patrol bombs and left debris on the cat tracks. Teo bowl triggered remotely. Personally, I'll concentrate on getting some miles under my legs at the area for a couple of weeks until things mellow out a bit...

You can enter Lift Gully from the skier right side and avoid the steeper convexity. They simply skied too far skier left into the gut. At least it's cleaned out to the ground now. Shit was popping all over the place yesterday. The slide in Hanging Meadow was the scary one. Not sure if someone triggered it or if it was natural. Couldn't see tracks going into it.

This is a skier triggered avalanche on Berthoud Pass in the Front Range zone on 12-11-2016. This was the group's second lap on the same slope. The first rider skied the path without incident. The second rider made three to four turns and the slope released. The skier was able to exit the avalanche without injury. The avalanche is classified as SS-ASu-R2-D2-G.

I'm definitely pessimistic and my mood on this Monday afternoon isn't helping I'm sure.
I don't think the Level 1 is missing anything that wouldn't lead a student to that being a bad idea. I just get the perception that some people who go through the course come out the other end with a far more conservative approach than before the class, and others with some possible false confidence in their mitigation techniques.
If I were to rephrase it I would have said "some" rather than "a lot". I do, however, personally know of quite a few that became more aggressive with their skiing habits after completing the level 1.
In any case it's just another reminder for us all to be heads up out there...

Real skiers want to go year round. Cyclists just go in the heart of winter. Bikers are kinda like tourists in that way.
