Sterling Pond is the obvious choice from the resort. You can then hike south along the Long Trail to the summit of Spruce Peak at Stowe and look down the valley. Also, in Waterbury, Ben & Jerry's is the obvious option for kiddos. Kinda surprised Peruvian didn't mention that as his daughter works for (worked for?) them.

It rained for all of 17 seconds down south at Magic. Seems like the worst of it was from Middlebury (tornado in Bridport) to the MRV and north. Hoping my friends up that way are all ok. I've heard from Peruvian and Vt-f. Anybody heard from Laps/Glap?
