Not specifically Colorado related, but I have a hotel booked Christmas through New Years in Utah. Thinking I'm going to cancel because of lack of snow.

My most recent corporate gig enforced us burning vacation days over Christmas week ... instead of when the snowpack is deeper. They just didn't get it.

Now that it snowed 6", I can't ride my bike out my door at 8500 ft. Must be fishing season.

By the way... that is illegal in Colorado.

The company can force you to take the day off but they cannot force you to burn vacation time. Legally they must give you the option to take it as unpaid.

I looked into that because my company pulls the same shit on black Friday. I decided it's not worth it to fight it for one day but if they tried to make me take a week of vacation at xmas we'd have issues.

I wish I knew that at the time, but I'll tell my friends. Thanks!

It said 3-6" for our neck of the woods. That's what we got around 10k.

A dud is when 2' is projected and we get a wind scoured 6".
3-6" forecast...we're in the range.
