Create LLC. Pay lawyers and accountants from gross proceeds. Whatever is left gets a k1 statement and pays their own damn taxes. Although it does seem that if the tickets are bought in CA everyone pays state tax. Kinda fucked up. But I get it. Government always gets their slice.

California to my knowledge does not allow a winner to be anonymous, even if you use an LLC or trust. Anyone here who can refute this?
