After an extra-crowded year, plenty of locals would beg for INCREASED prices, because they knew they were themselves dedicated enough to eat ramen all summer to afford a higher-priced season pass, while BayArea gapers might be less dedicated to save up. Instead, the Colorado influence crept into Tahoe, and prices went down over time---not up.
