Gary, If Dan doesn't have ya I will spot you $2. If we have the good fortune to win you may need a US bank acct for the money to be sent to or it will be sent to a maggot you trust to forward to you, as I am assuming the Lottery will not send the funds out of country.
In for the win
Yeah man, I got you! I'm heading out for a Dolomites hiking trip tonight though, so probably won't be online much for the next two weeks: we should definitely make sure to win this drawing.
Just sent $4 for me and Gary, this is the big one!
Thanks L2S, duckets sent

Just sent. Haven’t looked on TGR in a bit, glad to see this thread pop up again. Thanks for putting in the work L2S!

IN, thanks.
In! Done with this pesky day job

Pool is closed. Tickets purchased and I will post them up in a bit.
Dang duckets sent @4:39
I bought an extra ticket so you're in buddy but that's it.
Baby needs shoes
Should win this time, I was late to the party
Thanks L2S
i’m going to shave and take a shower, i don’t want to start my first day being rich looking like a poor.
can anyone recommend a pair of loafers?
I will set up an alternate US life. Skiing my ass off with mags in WA, OR, VT, CA and biking till I drop on UT, AZ etc. I will have an apt in new York just for the 2 weeks of the us open. I will become a fixture at Indian Wells. I will surf in Hawaii and CA. I'm quite looking forward to winning.
I’ll be buying a Maggot House in Hakuba stacked to the gills with bunk beds at which any mag can stay free of charge. There will be some sort of reservation app to lock in your stay.
Maybe I should buy a few around Japan. That makes more sense.
Imagine being able to book a ski trip to Japan without having to worry about hotels.
We’ll find a way to limit it to select mags.
And there will be a scholarship fund at the heart of the entire operation. We’ll be bringing skiing opportunities to those most in need, and those most wanting to play.
Families wanting to experience JP?
Teenagers wanting to experience JP?
Competitors needing housing in JP?
All of those less fortunate than myself, and more eager than myself… will have a home here.
And those more fortunate than myself will have a place to donate into scholarships.
A few of you guys need to be aware of this:
Mega Millions Rules
You must be a resident of a participating Mega Millions jurisdiction in order to play. There are 45 US states plus DC and US Virgin Islands.
As a foreign resident, you can purchase tickets in person if you are physically within the borders at time of sale.
Mega Millions tickets cannot be purchased remotely or across jurisdictions. You must buy tickets locally.
The bottom line is foreigners need current residency status to play either game. Purchasing tickets while visiting or from abroad is illegal according to the official rules.
I am uncertain how those rules would effect a maggot in say NH if I bought the tickets in CA.
The person that organizes the pool should create business that will receive the money. Then players will get disbursements. Seems like outta US wouldn't be a problem. But in my various chats with legal counsel that particular question did not arise for the record.
Did we win?
Thanks Core Shot.
Going forward, any maggot sending in money for the group pool buy of lottery tickets agrees to hold the ticket buyer harmless in the event of issues in the winnings being paid out to them.
All participates need to review the lotteries rules and make sure they can be in compliance to receive their winnings.
In some cases the group pool may need to form an LLC or Trust agreement to make sure participants receive their equal share of the pools winnings. The cost of forming the LLC or Trust will be the responsibility of the party(s) that require that to receive their winnings.
As a FYI, it may be possible to create a legitimate smokescreen for multiple winners using an LLC or trust. If you are using either type of entity, you will want to be careful to select the right jurisdiction where the LLC or trust will be subject to the least adverse income tax consequences. Either type of entity can be used to provide privacy for multiple winners. For example, if you use a trust, then each winner will sign a trust agreement agreeing to transfer his or her interest in the winning ticket to the trust and appointing one or more trustees to act on behalf of all of the winners. With Lotto jackpots being so high, the prospective winners should consider selecting a corporate trustee or bank to serve in that role. Alternatively, the winners can form an LLC and appoint a single manager to handle the logistics of receiving the winnings, reporting to the IRS and state taxing authorities and distributing the proceeds in the manner they have agreed.
Importantly, the winners should consult with their own attorney as soon as they learn that they have won the jackpot and before they announce this windfall to the world. The attorney should have significant experience in income and estate and gift taxes, as well as trust and LLC planning. The attorney also can help create a sharing agreement or contribution agreement outlining everyone’s rights, powers and responsibilities, as well as the appropriate trust or LLC documentation, on a timely basis. In addition, the winners should individually consult with a CPA and certified financial planner to determine how they will structure the lottery payout and how they will plan their lives following receipt of the lottery proceeds. This team of professionals should be consulted before the winning ticket is signed and turned in, which usually is required within 90-180 days after the winning numbers are announced (depending upon the state). In that way, the winners can maximize the benefits and minimize the stress of being the “chosen ones”.
The above are the rules for any tickets bought by an individual for the group going forward. Sending in your $2 means you agree to the above terms.
Now let's win Tuesdays drawing. Pool now closed.
Thanks!

In again this time for the win.

I’m a US citizen with a SSN, driver’s license, bank acct, etc. just no US phone number to verify my Venmo or PayPal. That’s my battle.
So thank you, L2S, for all past support but I understand if you don’t feel comfortable.
And I agree to the terms and conditions so long as someone is willing to throw in for me. And in writing I’ll say this— whoever buys me a ticket will get one million of my share.
I agree to the terms and conditions.
Dan thanks for floating me again
One more time (then I probably need to replenish the fund again eh?)
I also agree to the terms and conditions, and would be strongly in favor of formation of whatever appropriate legal formations keep our names private (feel free to file that under "problems I'd like to have").
In
Thanks again
Thanks for the lawyer speak, anti stoke, probably necessary reality check.
When we win, which we will, at least according to the laws and folklore of the fabled Maggot Kingdom of Gnar, I will be sure not to quit my real world job until I actually have a check in hand. When I do have the money, I am buying myself into a sweet retirement job, like sizing white T's for Hot Dog II, the sequel we didn't know we needed.
