The warm embrace of the sun changed it up to almost corn, wetting the folds of the side of the patch so that when I pulled out the skis they slid right down slippery as can be. Once I was in there, I was doing IT, that feeling, in and out, side to side, up and down, grunting and groaning, SKIING. The slope could have been more beautiful, it could have been longer, smoother, but all the same it was all that I came for and as I came to the end I let out a holler the same as if I had claimed a true beauty of a descent.

Were you up around Sky Pond in RMNP? A friend took a picture of someone hiking in this weekend, Rossignol S7 (green tips) blue and green outdoor? Way to scratch the itch this time of year!
Hiked James Pk and skied down Mary's a couple weekends ago. The hike and views were great.
