Also almost got gored by this moose that charged me. I know to keep a good distance away from them but this guy kept getting closer and closer to us and then charged us at full speed. Never had that happen before. Pretty scary. My girl was freaking the fuck out and I don't think it helped that we had just finished a safety meeting.

All weather shit show commentary aside, just good to have cool temps and moisture again! Love this time of year
People on 14ers.com reported 16-20" on Sherman. The Mosquito Range got hammered.
Yeah it did. This was the view from Leadville this afternoon.

This summer has been busy. For better or worse, our whole valley has been whored out. To me "the turn" means being able to go fishing and to the grocery store on the weekends without being surrounded by metro-douches, the beginning of hunting season, desert trips and hopefully indian summer.
Cold as fuck early yesterday in the IPW and lake Isabelle is completely drained somehow?
How the fuck do they even drain a lake that far away from everything ?
Weather is specfuckingtacular right now. I know because the whining has begun. I don't understand why people who don't like cold weather, or who fear driving in the snow, choose to live at 8+k' above sea level. Personally, I'm done with summer sometime in the afternoon of the day it arrives.
It's not a natural lake, someone owns that water: http://www.timescall.com/ci_21595229...ke-is-actually
