I’m guessing the info will be public sometime in March.

Hell yeah!!!
Yeah started to rain soon after the dump... I’m glad somebody got the goods. I got a weekday pass and had to work. If I was desperate, I might have drove to Silver but the forecast looks good for awhile so I’ll just wait for this holiday blackout dates are over.
Maybe visit the 49n?

late start after blowin snow, got to the round about about 10 and rounded the round about right back down and across the valley home to avoid the ridiculous time sucking holiday shit show shuttle from the fire station
records will be set; constant flow up while driving back down.
up early tomorrow for happy holiday hangover turns ahead of the crowd
Truth^. Yesterday was better snow and today was my personal record for longest first lift line east of Alpental. Curious what the numbers will show because all this talk of limited tickets looks like so much marketing just now. Lines for Basin and Escape were still touching around 10. Things did clear a little around lunch, but you made the right call.
Oh, I think they've limited the number of day passes. But since they sold somewhere around 15,000 season passes without restricting that access, days like today are going to happen. Holiday week, 8" of new.....yep, recipe for ridiculous crowding. Glad I worked. I'll be doing the early line tomorrow while the rest of the world is trying to stave off their hangovers.
I heard an average year was around 9000 passes.
Wednesday was way way better but it was still skiing, and my doing a little crowd prediction and lift line chiseling I managed to get an acceptable amount of skiing. Per usual, the 3 or 4 spots everyone gravitates towards were hammered, but even at 230 I was riding some nice pockets...
Yeah, that’s impressive. I bet they made way more money on that vs there yearly day ticket price.

Plan B when the parking lot is full? Turn around and drive back.
Plan B when the park is closed? Sit in the traffic forever because you don’t really have a room for a quick turn around.... one car at a time doing 3 point turn? And if you’re towards the back of line, can’t turn around on two lane mountain road.
If they closed the state park, we’ll be fucked.

finally met tafkals and shroom, next
time we'll make some turns together, today was board test
Today was a gift... total sleeper, better than yesterday. Still some deep snow, only enhanced by the 3" we got in the morning. No crowds, no lines, ski on chairs all day long. shroom and I skied hard till 330, and were getting some deep turns at the end.
the lee slopes were money
Well, that didn't suck.
Still maintain Friday was best, but no complaints about to day. Much improvement of coverage, starting to get skiable everywhere...
Had fun with 2funky skiing at Jackass the past 2 days. The line for the gondola was ridiculous this morning. But once all the lifts were spinning the lift lines weren't too bad.
Friday? Do you mean Thursday? I missed Thursday but skied Friday and don't remember it being too memorable. Yesterday morning sucked but the afternoon got good in Big/Little Timber and Downhill. That was fun but, Friday? I honestly can't even think of what may have been that great. Of course, skied with the wife so Caboose and Trial Run were about as radical as we got.
Today on the Face (Triple) was really good. That and C3 were killer this morning. Throwing in some sunshine and I was a happy skier.
