I thought they had STH-2's but they were in fact STH-12's mounted on the line (and with a second set of heel holes). After multiple template overlays to see how I could achieve a -1.5 mount with various bindings, I pulled out my Warden template and found that by using two of the STH-12's toe holes, I could get the toe to land at -1.5 for my BSL.
The Wardens' hole overlay was a couple of mm wider however, but since I was installing inserts (5/16" hole) there was a perfect overlap. I plugged all of the holes using xxx-er's method (marine epoxy + chopped up fiberglass), waited 24 hours, sanded them level, then marked and drilled.
By moving the heel forward by 5mm, I was able to re-purpose two of the heel holes. It was the same story as with the toe - a slight width difference which the additional diameter of the insert holes took up nicely. I lucked out, in that moving the heel mount forward positioned the two remaining heel holes equidistant from the previously drilled, plugged holes.
I'm planning a drive to the PNW for business, and budgeted time on the return drive to play with them in Montucky and Wyoming ... hopefully in their intended environment ;-)

I did some base repair and mounted my beater pair of skis to donate to a VanLifer who was in need of gear.
- 188cm Rossignol S7 Barras 2010, used, now mounted with used mismatched 897 DIN=12 plastic heels & plastic 997 DIN=12 toes, for 301mm BSL at -4.0cm from true center (+2.0cm from manufacturer recommended line).

How exactly would i determine the boot centerline (not longitudinally down the ski but the mount line) for a ski that does not have a line or mark? Ski is a Kastle mx88. No mark or nothin. Try to find a tech manual from Kastle?
Do you have that damaged pair of reverse camber ones we talked about on the lift? I have a buddy in slc who would pick them up if so. That reverse camber 192 before the taper was my perfect skiQuote:

I do all my own. If I'm moving bindings or mounting another pair same series I just copy the hole pattern from an already mounted pair to the new pair. Make a thick paper template of the holes in already mounted skis, including where the mid sole is and centered left to right on the ski.. Mark same holes on new skis with the boot center at desired mount point and centered left to right.. Easy peasy! Takes a little longer and a bit more research if I'm mounting a set of bindings I'm not already experienced with but still way quicker than the 45 minute trip to the closest ski shop.... And it's nowhere near ski country so folks odds are the college kid working there isn't more experience than I am but they do have proper jigs. If there was a shop closer where a drop off and pick up didn't require 3 hours of my time I'd probably be fine paying someone else to work on my skis.. Just easier to do it myself instead though..
