Wife wants to ski one more weekend and we won't be able to hit Meadows tomorrow. Thinking about a bachy day trip. But I'm too old for 7 hours of driving in one day any more.

I haven't seen it, but I know people are getting out there and skiing it. Check forecasts for refreeze conditions and winds. I had a buddy last week get shut out due to poor conditions in both regards (crap refreeze and big winds up high).
staying at timberline friday night. mom can't ski but the boy and i will friday morning while she enjoys the lodge and then i have a free round of golf at resort at the mountain in the afternoon
