A kid I went to college with was HUGE into world of warcraft.
couple years after I graduated we had a reunion of sorts and he showed up with his brand new mercedes benz, and a personalized plate that said "Level 70"
I think it was 70, but either way it was to denote the highest achievable level in warcraft, which actually wasn't even attainable yet. they hadn't released the expansion for the game or whatever, he just wanted to be ready with the plate. I asked him what he would do when they made more levels available, and he said he would get another plate. Priceless.

My future brother in law has a Maine plate "NYY" on his Q7 audi. he is a huge Yankees fan who spends lots of his time in Manhattan working. Sittin' on 22's too. So as i was driving the thing home a couple of weeks ago from NYC to Boston i was wondering what % of people on the mass pike were thinking "what a fucking asshole."
