I see I had a post on page 1.

I have worked remotely from Utah since 2013. I still have a desk job, but I work from home on the outskirts of Park City. I will be out on the XCD setup at lunch tomorrow, and it will feel great.

I'm here, haven't gone anywhere. Getting by on a firefighter pension and ski patrol/trail crew. Mrogers21 (posted upthread) lives in Taos - works on the TSV trail crew in summer, patrol in the winter. Married a doctor - I'd call that a ski town grand-slam.

I hadn't posted in the original thread, but I remember it clearly because it was around the time we got the hell out of Denver and moved back to the mountains.

6 years in, still here, still riding high. Pretty much won the poor person/working class lotto for Aspen. Both of us have normal, real, 9-5, non-resort/non-hospitality jobs, own a decent employee housing condo on the cheap, both ski/bike/hike 3-4 days week, just got my TGR Euro AWD/MT/Turbo wagon (the 3rd beater Subaru finally gave out), and still have pretty much no money, savings or future financial prospects. Totally worth it.
