everything else is secondary to the fact that you made a choice to take his money by cashing the check. You only take someone's money when you are fully prepared to send them the goods they purchased with equal speed. If you were going to be on vacation you could have not cashed the check until you got back. Instead you put GBB at a disadvantage by having not only the goods he wanted but his payment in your possession at the same time.

Thanks to college, Texas is now only my summer home. Although the state I'm in now isn't much better, but I am only 6 hours from the mountains!
