There you go. Flowing water on mars.

Will necessitate spacecraft with a rack for the float.
Not sure how many of you go into the Photography forum so I'll cross post this here:
Here in the northeastern US, the lunar eclipse occurred rather high in the sky, so it was difficult to find something interesting to put in the foreground. The tallest things around here are churches so I went to see what I could find.

Not too often that you can get a shot of the Milky Way during a full moon:

^^^was hoping someone on here would catch some nice pro shots - excellent, esp that milky way one.
Beautiful shots, as always, NEK
It was cloudy here last night, but a few years back standing at the Rainbow Bridge overlook you could see a full lunar eclipse in one direction and a comet in the eastern sky with Donner Lake in the foreground. The comet was as long in the sky as Donner Lake was wide.
Love the shot with the Milky Way!
I wish these guys the best. If it works as advertised I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

People seem to be making a big deal out of that, but I fail to see how having a beard prevents you from seeing the metric fuckload of money that could potentially be made selling a better razor. Hell, you could sell them exclusively to women and still make a killing. One thing is for sure, they've absolutely crushed their funding goal.
I just thought it was funny. Who cares if they have beards?
You would think, but here's a sampling from the CNET article comments. People are dumb.
Quote:
People with beards trying to convince me of their supreme beard fighting technology makes me a little uncomfortable I must say.
These guys all have pretty banged up beards for a innovative razor company. just saying
You'd think they'd all be completely clean shaven or at least have a manicured look to show how well the tech works.
Every person on the screen had a beard or stubble... doesn't really give me any confidence in the product yet.
Just because they have facial hair doesn't mean they aren't shaving.
Pretty informative AMA from the scientists at NASA.

I do not know if this is science, young man. But today I saw a candle for sale that was "Cowboy" scented.
I have no idea how the manufacturer managed to get the smells of dour alcoholism, being broke, chewing tobacco, and punching a woman in the face for not doing the dishes, all in the same jar of wax.
Maybe there's little bits of ground-up cowboy in there.
For the bird brains out there:
