Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure the undercarriage of the car has got to be on the verge of disintegrating... Any MN folks care to comment on the folly of buying a 25 year old car with 100K on the clock?

Maybe it was never driven in the winter. Are those just random photos from an ad or have you seen the car/put it on a lift? If you can't go see it, be sure you get a complete pre buy inspection done by a p shop or you will be sad.
100k on a 25 year old car probably means it wasn't driven in the winter. Fugly rims. God I miss running through those gears.
Those are just photos from the ad... If I decide to go ahead with it, I'd set up a PPI with somebody local. But the PPI all by itself might run me $500... Don't want too many false starts... Really like the looks of the car there, but the MN location scares me.Quote:
