Warm, but a good day to go for a walk and scope out a new area.
Yesterday was perfect weather for a Quandary Summit. Upper bowl was bullet proof but some fun snow down low. Mountain Goats were hanging around with there babies. I usually don't see them until the spring. Attachment 177348

So warm for yet another week. Will it ever get cold again?
Been a good few days of afternoon mashed potatoes at Vail.
I must be in the wrong thread, you guys seem to be skiing and having fun, where's the butthurt?
Considering it's been warm and sunny for a month, I think conditions aren't bad. Definitely fun out there.
Wow so much stoke on this page and serious lulz!!!! [emoji41][emoji41][emoji41][emoji41]

Meadow Mtn outside Allenspark skied nice in the trees. Road/path for the first 1 mile will probably be completely melted by tomorrow I reckon.
^Sweet! I've got some buddies with a camp set up near the top. You might've seen them trekking around in their trackster up rock creek a ways.
I leave the country for a week and a half and it still doesn't snow? I guess it really never is going to snow again.
Trackster as in one of these?

That's not cool.
Snowed yesterday afternoon before they swept the cam at 4pm.
Their snow reports are usually spot on. YMMV.
Probably my least favorite weather pattern... 4" of snow followed by triple digit winds, which conveniently moves all the snow into three piles, two on the road and one at the bottom of the driveway.
