Sign on tree in video says Private rd as he is walking past....this took place on the residents drive/property which turns off of Old Prospect ave. I have thought of coming out of the BC around there, looked at a map to see where I'd come out on the highway, and saw I'd have to go through someone's yard, so I never did. Everyone who goes through there is lying if they say they didn't know it's private IMO, signs or not, unless they drove around beforehand to see where it is possible - maybe it is possible somewhere, I don't know. yeah not exactly sure how it works but I think in this case there needs to be some exceptions made.... Brighton Resort, Forest Service, Landowners, Law enforcement need to work something out. Temporary rope line that the resort maintains with obvious signage seems most logical. It would probably be easier for ski patrol to maintain it with landowners approval even though technically its not their responsibility? Would be a nice gesture to keep the peace and de-escalate the situation.Quote:

If I'm accurate here, if the private property is not properly posted and signed, and is not in current agricultural use then persons may travel through without permission, but if asked to leave things change.
Its not on brighton for the ropeline, but could help, its definitely on the landowner to have proper legal signage requirements up.
