So we're in the 100 employee mandate and we have one employee who has been with us for 35+ years saying he's going to quit if he has to get tested and wear a mask and another long term is taking and unscheduled vacation to start. As much as I'm pro vaccination, I'm not sure I agree with this mandate. We have to allow employees time to go get tested every week and we need to log all the info and just deal with it. We're a small company, like most, understaffed as it is. We are also specialty whereas it takes years to learn the intricacies of the business, not difficult per se, just a lot to learn. So just canning an long term employee is cutting off your nose despite your face.
I'm just not sure I agree with 100+ employee thing. Should it be all businesses? There is obviously a big difference between a 100, 1000, 10000, etc employee company and the resources to handle a new mandate such as this. I don't know...I just wish all the kooks would just get the gawd damn shot!!
