Hey Jer, noticed the pair of Sanouks with Freerides. How do they tour? I bought a pair off off e-bay this spring with alpine bindings and am considering remounting with some AT bindings if I like them. Is it worth the trouble? I hear they are not that versatile, but are a great powder ski.Quote:

They're fine for touring. The STS tail hook will never come off a Sanouk. They're more versatile than many people let on, although they are best in powder. Honestly, the only places Sanouks aren't that great is coral, bumps and consolidated crud. I had to do the TTips Freeride fix on the bindings, tho.
