Burnt Mountain skied way deeper than the 2" reported today. That was a nice surprise..... But are the Burnt Mountain glades worth the traverse out?
I was happy, I think I saw 4 other people all day.

Beacon goes inside the jacket. That's a pretty serious safety consideration if you intend for someone to be able to actually find you in an avalanche.
Yea it was a pretty stupid mistake on my part, I had my outer layer on and when i took it off I should have also put my beacon under my mid layer, you couldn't be more right.Quote:

And compression tests should be done with 3 sides isolated. What's the point of doing a test if you don't do the test correctly? Good way to eventually wind up dead, when you think everything is is stable when it's actually being held on by a thread.Quote:
