Heh. That's what our mountains in Colorado look like normally... even in a good year. :D

Where in the Pyrenees are u heading to? I was in Baqueira this weekend (yesterday was best day of the season so far... not difficult though as it's been subpar since opening day), but the Pyrenees are very diverse and right now some places look great while others... not so much. Right now we have a week of high pressures, sun and stable weather ahead of us.
Switzerland: oh well there goes the neighborhood.
I don't want to drive 5 hours..but I need a pow day..Attachment 445355Attachment 445356

the eastern shift continues in the 6z runs. everything west of innsbruck is still a gamble. it should see some snow, but not as much as to turn the season around. East of salzburg is still on track for a proper season "start".
the snowfall might actually go all the way into next week. not for me as a weekend warrior, but everyone else should think about it.
powderguide.com alert will come out tonight until sat because in the east it will basically snow 4 days.
Still looks like a "dump" for Davos by my admittedly low standards coming from a polar desert...
was really hoping for different news here... Had to stick to the slopes with my girlfriend this weekend but actually backcountry as looked more tempting in other seasons. Davos is very low tide indeed.
Took a day off work today..... was worth it.
Northerly aspects still holding nice freshies.
Even though the base is obviously a bit thin..... and the top parts had some winds.
But all in all a good outing.

Rolling into Chamonix Saturday night if anyone is around next week and looking to get out.
Here we go again:
If you can go far east. Anything in the Salzburg area and further east is going to be all time. I'll probly head over for the weekend.
It'll be massive.... and more Monday Tuesday.
Use translate for all the fun..
And it's going to be cold like coldest of the winter cold. I'd not necessarily go to cham. 🥶🥶

Although our Model is a bit optimistic in eastern Switzerland and the arlberg. I'll not convinced there will be that much in my neighborhood.

Looks like 2962 is gonna get creamed by this one🤘 right in time from my return from 🇯🇵
Go East old man. And pics, or IT. DID. NOT. HAPPEN.
Half way trough my 12 hr journey to the east, just realised I was making the same trip last year, almost to the day, for an eastern storm. Stay safe and have fun all, and thanks for the updates subtle. Stoke is high [emoji869]

you may have spoken to buster, but I'll answer:
I will. I will....im still convincing the Crew. But I got at least one Team mate.
Still not sure whether 6 hours and get a room by car or 8h by rv....(or 12h on the way back if it actually snows down to the Autobahn like in 18/19) 🤯
Where are you headed Banzai?
Bad Gastein or Malnitz by train, hotel Echo for the now.
My faith in Graubunden is undeterred; I'm still planning on being there for EuroBBi2023, dammit.
bad gastein.... just looked at with google maps plus the snowfall
