Great day at Vail. Empty. WFO and Over Yonder laps all day
WP was awesome today. Got lucky with two laps through Hole in the wall during an hour of directed skiing. Snow was soft everywhere else. It was cold.
On another note, anybody need a touring partner for tomorrow? RMNP, IPW, Berthoud...wherever. Got gear, AIARE level 1, on a split etc. PM me.
Storms have been going north or south, at least for the ski area. Backcountry is getting as much or more than elsewhere. Next week could be good, but CB's terrain won't likely be open even if we get dumped on. then again, the lift lines will likely be half of say summit county. Tough call.Quote:
