I saw a Cali plate in a car window recently. On highway. Tried to get photo evidence but was behind the wheel and owner was on a tear. Plate appeared legit even though car was no longer officially registered in CA. “MUFFDVR”

I had an original blue plate 84 landcruiser that only had a rear plate, I ordered up a matching one to display on the front as I didn't want to lose the blue plates to "make it legal" with a front plate
