Nice pic singlecross. Hope the Bottles come back to Black Mountain of Maine sometime when the glades are in.
The above map is old. The one below is missing a half dozen or more glades

It's such an amazing place IMHO. Did the Moxie hike yesterday afternoon in the fog and the snow was a bit thick but delish. Woods looked gorgeous but mostly skied soooooo, today's objective with limited time was to ski some of that beautiful cord that whomever grooms that shit grooms to purrrrfection. Skied like corn this morning and that's a compliment. If you ain't been to BMOM, do you even ski????

Looks nice all over the map, finally. Seems like less soup and more skiing.
Week in review;
Monday was nice and quiet, Bravo down [big surprise] so we hit the traverse for HG and soft bumps and the best Ripcord groom of the year.

Tuesday and Bravo still down, The Mall filled in and skiing really well

Steins nice but the right side walls where the snow was skied off reminded me of that Fair sideshow with the motorcycles riding around the circle of wood. One slip and ZIP down to the bottom

Today was Les tits now! with the sun and calm skies. Of course the Sky Rippers threw a couple of chemtrail arcs over the peak later on
Attachment 450282
Morningstar finally filled in enough for some laps today
Attachment 450283

Life’s good
My next door neighbor at Magic just reported a 29 minute lift line. Not surprised....
Get after it! Going to be one of those day where you do run out of time before you run out of leg (quoting singlecross here)
Bromley is good too. Attachment 450348
Thinking wildcat tomorrow if anyone’s around
He’s not wrong - but my legs need some recovery time! Thanks for your service we do appreciate it.

So after taking the dog out, I'll say that elevation definitely made a difference. In the Bethel Community Forest, my fishscale setup was working nicely. Once I dropped down onto the old woods road and snow machine trail towards my house, they glopped up pretty ridiculously.Attachment 450361
What. A. Day.
First Chair to Last Rope.
Attachment 450362
Not a day to run out of leg with a foot of fresh getting refilled every lap.
Attachment 450363
Lunch in the pack with some extra goggles and gloves.
Attachment 450364
Lapped all damn day with ski on chairs.
Attachment 450365
Staying another night in the Lot and going to try and motivate for an early am skin lap tomorrow morning.

These are the good old days at Saddleback!
Hope everyone is getting pow finally. Heading to Ragged Mountain tomorrow for left overs and a look around. Give a shout if you're heading there. Orange-ish helmet green googles blue jacket gray pants - be sure to ask for change. Cheers!
