While I agree to an extent, in this particular thread I haven't really seen much of an attempt at compromise. Unless compromise means that a sovereign country that is a democracy by definition and was invaded multiple times by a dictator is expected by some to either give up territory or just roll over. @Otzi, peaceful and non-violent gatherings to protest would be a fine start. And not the piecemeal gartherings to date. But who will organize them? Occupy is done, ANTIFA doesnt exist and the D party is more and more irrevelent and feckless. The far Left is painted as AOC, Omar and Greene.

But who will organize them? At this point in time, it would have to be social media. It would have to rival large size protests not found in the United States of America

It doesnt have to be organized it should be organic, lots of groups and individuals ending up at the same place at the same time. What it needs are places and times, and word of mouth and social media and every other way news gets spread. Memorial Day is an obvious date. State capitals are an an obvious place. Noon is an obvious time. So, heres the deal, theres gonna be a massive shitkicking protest at noon on Memorial Day, at your state capital building. Tell your friends if theyre like-minded. Bring a drum or a tuba or a first-aid kit or whatever you think might help. Be there.

In 2020 when Biden beat Trump hordes of nuts would not accept the results and to this day still claim the election was somehow rigged. Then there was an attempted overthrow of the election results using both the courts and violence. In 2024 when Trump beat Harris we, the deranged again have accepted the election results. We continue to exercise our constitutional rights to free speech and are threatened with jail.

Russian deaths, however, are even higher. BBC Russia estimates that between 150,000 and 210,000 soldiers had been killed as of February. Other places have produced similar estimates. Mediazona and Meduza, two independent Russian media outlets, put the number between 160,000 and 165,000 by the end of 2024. They use inheritance and other records to arrive at these estimates, which are also available by week (see chart 3).</div>

These data suggest that Russian deaths have increased exponentially, from about 20,000 in 2022, to about 50,000 in 2023 and nearly 100,000 in 2024.</div>

In December a British official said that Russian casualties (including dead and wounded) were on track to reach 1m within six months.</div>
