Was able to wire all the gates at KC finally. Fine tuning the system with a couple of bugs to work out, but for the most part it seems to work fine. I printed my pass and it opened each of the gates. I did a little dance every time I passed through.

Thanks! Turns out I know one of Nates cousins. Haven't run into him again, but I've spent little time up to KC. Concentrating on other resorts. Snow King last weekend. Hitting Soldier again this Sunday, awesome hill. Batchelor trip coming up soon after that. Tamarack, Brundage, then Lost Trail Pass. My legs are in their seasonal prime.
Also....10 years since the big one.

Our faithful and loyal doggo Charlie has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. A couple of months is what we have at most and we are making her as happy and comfortable as possible. She still has a good appetite.... so ice cream and special dog treats, as much as she wants, are available to her 24/7. She's a good girl. We were hoping for a couple more years... but 14 will have to do.

We take her for short excursions.

Sorry to hear this LBL. Wishing you and Charlie more happy memories together.
Thanks, she has been a wonderful companion.
Last few years we have taken her in for biannual checkups. No issues....till a couple of months ago I noticed she was unable to chase a ball like she did before. I attributed that to old age...but it got worse... then I noticed that she had a growth in her mouth. Took her in... and was given the bad news. I cried. She is relatively comfortable, still is able to eat, and has a good appetite. Tumor in lower jaw erupts every few days that causes bleeding. Nothing severe, but enough to make a mess. Fortunately we have hardwood floors and have removed all the rugs. Swiffer mop cleans the floors easily. When the time comes, we will take her in....but it hasn't come to that yet. Got her some pain meds yesterday at the veterinarian while in for another look at the jaw. She doesn't seem to be in pain...but we got them anyway... got her some vanilla ice cream too.
