Today was the first time I've watched a whole race - usually, I just watch highlights - and damn, that was intense. Would love to watch F1 live next weekend but it's so early!

That track was intense - I'll be surprised if it isn't altered in some way for future races.
In terms of the actual racing, I think Hamilton wrapped it up pretty succinctly - "It's difficult to fight with a driver that doesn't work with the same rulebook." I think Verstappen has been tremendously lucky this season in terms of not receiving harsher penalties for his often dangerous driving.

I'm a newb to F1, can someone explain what happened there? Latifi crashed, safety car came on, that let Verstappen close the gap on Hamilton and then in the final lap he overtook him? I guess shit happens, but Hamiliton must be pissed.Quote:

Race Control wanted a checkered flag decided on racing, not following a pace car to decide the championship.
Please correct me if I'm wrong in my understanding of how it played out.
