cold irons bound
I'm beginning to hear voices and there's no one around
Well, I'm all used up and the fields have turned brown
I went to church on Sunday and she passed by
My love for her is taking such a long time to die
I'm waist deep, waist deep in the mist
It's almost like, almost like I don't exist
I'm twenty miles out of town, in cold irons bound
The walls of pride are high and wide
Can't see over to the other side
It's such a sad thing to see beauty decay
It's sadder still, to feel your heart torn away
One look at you and I'm out of control
Like the universe has swallowed me whole
I'm twenty miles out of town in Cold irons bound
There's too many people, too many to recall
I thought some of 'm were friends of mine; I was wrong about 'm all
Well, the road is rocky and the hillside's mud
Up over my head nothing but clouds of blood
I found my world, found my world in you
But your love just hasn't proved true
I'm twenty miles out of town in cold irons bound
Twenty miles out of town in cold irons bound
Oh, the winds in Chicago have torn me to shreds
Reality has always had too many heads
Some things last longer than you think they will
There are some kind of things you can never kill
It's you and you only, I'm been thinking about
But you can't see in and it's hard lookin' out
I'm twenty miles out of town in cold irons bound
Well the fats in the fire and the water's in the tank
The whiskey's in the jar and the money's in the bank
I tried to love and protect you because I cared
I'm gonna remember forever the joy that we shared
Looking at you and I'm on my bended knee
You have no idea what you do to me
I'm twenty miles out of town in cold irons bound
Twenty miles out of town in cold irons bound

I only gave the other one half a chance cause I was in a hurry.

Hit the Road
For the record. I've listened to this one over and over. I didn't get it the first time. Then I watched it again after Rideski's comment on it, and it clicked and I watched/listened a few more times, then I researched and Saw that it is a Maynard James Keenan project and it all kind of fell together, and I listen to it almost daily now, more than once.
and a video... just because...

I like that Biram. The guitar rocks, is that a Stratocaster? The vocals are a bit too harsh, but of course that is the mood of the song, which I dig for sure.
Dylan has to be considered one of the premier poets of our time. His vocals never really did it for me, but his songs are worthy.
The Pucifer flick is one of a kind. I scrolled and saw the Keenan mention in the comments, and instantly got a lot more interested. After hearing it was him and listening, the song is decent for sure. After I stated listening I was catching on to all that's going on in the vid and was impressed. Anyone know the director? It helped that I was a chess buff at one point long ago. The four move check mate is witty, but the point where the chessmen stop and watch the glass get refilled with wine gets me every time.
[QUOTE=huckbucket;1559431]You post some RH and don't include this video? Shame on you ...
There is no shame in the daily youtube fix, JONG, get with the program.

**I believe Birams guitar is a Gibson hollow body. The hollow body gives it a deeper fuller sound. from Wikipedia "However, they face problems in high-gain amplification, as the sound chambers also induces unsavory feedback." I would dare to call the whole Scott H. Biram experience a little unsavory. Distorted guitars, distorted vocals, and a kickbox. He changes up his timing in the middle of songs and improvs/adlibs lyrics. He's right up there in my list of shows I've been amped from after experiencing.
I gotta put up some more Biram now.
song: Plow You Under
Im Flying (x22)
All night long my body burned
the sheets were wet and cold
the lights were on my eyes were gone
any second lose control
the pounding on my window is just the pounding in my head
I wonder who was in my room last night,
who the hell was in my bed?
Ahhh!
There must have been a body there
I swear I felt some flesh
it took a little time
but I figured they were mine
there were fingers goin down my chest
my mouth went through the ceiling and my body fell through the floor
I couldn't find the key cause there was no one I could see
and someone had moved the door
Ahhh!
The cops the priest the crisis line,
And nobody had a clue
no one could tell who abducted me,
Or exactly what I should do
my throat was dry and my hopes were high,
but nothing really ever got said
Who was in my room last night,
who the hell was in my bed?
AHHH!

Sorry about the commercial in the beginning. Totally blows, but only two seconds or so. This clip had by far the best sound quality of a live performance currently uploaded.

I guess this is an oldie at this point:
And a live version for those who need more Robert Quine, sound sucks though. World Most Dangerous Band rocking out to it, and just listening to Quine.
Fuck, I guess this is on some fucking video game now, because people posted themselves 'playing' along to it. Kinda depressing, for some reason.
This is probably on here but... best vid EVER
