Anyone else think that there appears to be two strategies that were employed with scheduling? Some schools seemed to keep the old hire the softest opponent you can find and remain undefeated strategy that we all know and hate from the old 4 team playoff days. Bama and Georgia might get left out from their sec play and little SMU that started the NIL 30 years ago and was a P4 afterthought may sneak into the playoff and start ruling as if there is one thing SMU knows how to do is pay players. As a Ducks fan, I’m happy to play OSU in the Big10 championship. It should be another great game. The prospect of any two teams playing three times in a season isn’t awesome, however. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that.
