The funny thing is that a high percentage of the athletic population around here partakes and no one seems to give a shit especially on the backroads, just don't speed and have all your shit together (current registration sticker, all lights working, no cracked windshield, etc.) so they don't have an excuse to pull you over.

I spent a week in jail in Rexburg. the judge was an ex-morman bishop. I had one small bowl load on me and a pipe. I got a year of supervised probation with drug tests every month, 1k in fines, mandatory NA meetings every week and a suspended drivers license for a year. That place seriously fucking sucks. It feels like another dimension.
On the plus side, my acquaintances who have been the guests of Madison Co all report that it is about the safest and most drama free place one can do time. I had one guy tell me he'd rather do the full 11 months and 29 days in the Madison Co lockup than do another 60 days in a San Diego jail.
I knew another guy who had to take a Greyhound Bus all the way from Connecticut to come back to do a week in Madison Co jail. He said the week in jail was better than the bus ride.
Teton County just has a temporary holding facility. If you have to spend any time in jail up here, you get taken down to Madison Co., where they will charge you good money for your bunk and baloney sandwich. That's where we have to go to pick up our friends when they end up on the wrong side of things. So there it is, the only two good reasons to ever set foot in Rexburg are to go to Walmart or to give a friend a lift when the Momos let him out of the can. Leave your stash at home.
